Absolutely !! HELL I screeched my truck to a stop and got out to help a women who had fell on the sidewalk on some ice ! I then drove her to her destination and called the city and told them to get some "icemelt" down before they get a lawsuit!

I have helped numerous people and will continue as long as they are in my sight !!! It makes me sick seeing others just pass these people by! I am a true believer of "do unto others" and the golden rule! If you had fallen near me I would of been all over you making sure you were ok !

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah life is good when I pave my own way!

Sorry it happened. Laughing is cruel. I'd at least help you up.

NOW, there is this situation my friend petite 100 lbs nurse was helping an 80 YEAR OLD 300 POUND lady to get to her bed, and the old geezer fell down crushing my nurse friend who was only 30 years old at the time! Now, she is disabled and this old hag is still living! And for what? Another nurse who was helping the old lady stood by but let her go when she saw she was falling. In this SITUATION, it would have been best to let go of an overweight obese person, because of injury.

NOTE: Stormy, that story was sad, hope it never happens again.

yes, I would, but Iam a paramedica and I am comfortable doing that. Most people dont really know what to do and that makes them feel awkward and uncomfortable, especially if there might be something really wrong with the fallen person. Dont get mad at them, they were probably surprised and just did not know the right thing to do.

Plus, it you were bleeding, people are afraid of all the cooties out there these days and dont want to come into contact with them.

I tell you I think it is truly sad that we live in a world that no one cares about the people around them!!! Of course I would offer to help someone down...even if the situation is funny (and we have all seen falls that are REALLY funny) , I would hope that I could contain my glee long enough to help a fellow human to their feet. I know how you feel!!!

Yes ofcourse i would help. It astounds me that some people would laugh and walk away. Any descent person with even a little bit of care and respect for other human beings would help

p.s. hope you're ok

Absolutely! I can't imagine anything more disturbing than witnessing a life-altering accident that could have been avoided with my assistance.

Those people who simply walked by you are very mean. I hope that behavior is not that of the majority of all people, otherwise, we will have some major issues to confront among ourselves.

My first instinct would be to help you up but I must admit that when I was no longer around you I would laugh my butt off. For some reason people falling is funny, even when I do it

Yes, we should help someone who fell but sometimes other people don't what to be helped or probably they are embarrassed. I tried one time a woman was trying to carry this heavy bag of her I offered my help but she was mad, instead of saying, thank you she said mind your own business. This the reason why some people does not want to be involved if their
is a situation but not me. I still help if I could.

I believe it's rude to laugh at someone that falls down.
I've heard of a lady falling down in the street, that never got up again. People said that she was drunk, that she was too shy to get up again, that she was clumsy.
A week later the news paper reported her having a heart attack and she died.

Yes, I would have helped you and asked if you were okay. And probably shot some dirty looks at those laughing. Sure, later, you can laugh at yourself. But it's not right to laugh at someone else.
