Because a working dog works flat out, non stop from sun up to sun down. Dogs are lazy when they're pets because they are bored. Give a dog a job to do and they thrive.

Probably not .
My guess is that either you dont have a dog at all or have a mellow dog .
Just tell a Jack Russel Terrier he is lazy
or better yet a Belgian Malinois
Husky, Malmute or greyhound for that matter.
If someone said that to you they were complimenting you
You must be a confused person but i can tell you are a hard worker .

In India, the animal synonymous with hard work is "Donkey". he works w/o grudge or complaint.
