Hi Brett...consider visiting the Cat Fanciers website if you have a particular breed that isn't common: http://www.cfa.org/breeds.html

Once you've visited the suggested websites or gone to the library to get a book on cat breeds, I'd suggest searching on images of kittens of a particular breed that you think yours might be ... kittens sometimes look a lot different to the adult version of the breed.

Or wait until he or she grows up & then consult the websites & library book again.

Or, final suggestion, take a photo, post it to the web, provide a link & show us a photo of your little kit, to see if we can help.

maybe you should go to the library and get some books out on cat breeds or take it to a different vet it can't be that hard to find out what sort of cat is unless it might be a crossed breed.

Hi go to a library & look for a cat breed book thats got cat pictures in it...as a kitten like it is you might find it may look like a breed but might not be anything like as it grows up...chances are that it will be just a moggy/mixed breed...Regards Jake
