My friend had to go to hosptial Saturday after we (admittedly) drank too much on Friday night, but the reason for her going was due to such an extreme anxiety attack (which she didn't know at the time) The doctor said this happens often with too much red bull. AND according to the doctor, its banned in most countries apart from here, US and Mexico.

Well I get palpitations and start going into panic mode when I drink it. I gave up on it a long time ago. It's full of the nastiest crap you could possibly put in your body. Drink redbull if you dont mind risking your life. You're better off drinking lots of alcholol. At least the effects are more long term.

I think your heart is beatting too fast because the excess amount caffeine, they are 84 mg of caffeine in a can of the red bull even the sugar free one, it equivalent caffeine in 10 cups of tea in 1 can. I won't suggest to drink them often specially at night, you can get insomnia as well. Only drink it when you need a boost such as when you work hard or travelling long journey.

Red Bull contains soooo much Caffeine that they say you should only drink one of them in a day and when you do drink it with water! In quite a few European countries they class it as medicine and have banned it's use because of so many problems. Someone I know works in the A & E department of a Hospital and saw someone die from supposedly drinking SIX Cans!

Golly! You learn something new every day - Red Bull is now banned from this household - Coke was already banned because it takes the colour out of 1p and 2p pieces if you soak them overnight in the UK.

SOunds about right. It's packed full of caffiene, and that alone can trigger an anxiety attack. Combining it with alcohol seems to increase the effect.
It is an illegal substance in many countries, not b/c of the caffiene, but b/c of of the creatine.
