My husband is not jealous at all and I mean it. I hate that. He doesn't care when I'm sitting (at some party) with my old boyfriend. He doesn't care if I receive a message at 2:00A.M, doesn't even ask who is the message from.
When I give him a question - why he is not jealous
He tells me - If I am jealous that means you gave me some real reason for that, and if you give me some real reason to be jealous that will be the last day of me seeing you.
Maybe this is trust, maybe he is right, but unfortunately we women like when we make guys jealous, because that's the way we feel how important we are for them and how they are afraid to loose us.
I think the ideal man is somewhere in the middle, not too jealous!

Jealousy is a sign of insecurity and lack of trust. It would be annoying to have a jealous posessive boyfriend who keeps breathing down your back. However, I wouldn't like a complete lack of jealousy either. It might be a sign that he's getting complacent about the relationship, or worse, that he doesn't care.

I would take it that he can as well do without me. And I am nothing special to him.
I think there should be some elements of jealousy if you do really love someone. It is too much of it that is not good. So your partner should be a little bit jealous.

I'm a guy, and my experience is that women want to feel that their man WILL get jealous if they looked at another man. It shows how much a guy wants and needs them. But jealousy is a slippery slope and can grow to ridiculous stages. It's my opinion that jealousy is a wasted emotion.

I know that no jealousy means there is security on his side. But I still want him to get a bit jealous from time to time.

Jealousy can be a relationship breaker, it conveys no trust in each other. If i was with another guy and he acted a bit possessive, id find that cute ( But nothing overboard- I'll drop u like a hot potato)

I'd be happy that he wasn't getting upset about me talking to other males. Just because a woman talks to other males doesn't mean she likes them in that way. I'd never do anything to make my partner feel insecure on purpose so I'd be glad that he's not the jealous type - where you have to placate unfounded fears and insecurities.

hmmmm tricky 1.us girls tend to get jealous all the time but men dont show it if they r.jealousy is defo not a good thing though its a minus in our personalities

Really the source of jelousy is not good. Jelousey stems from instability. One might be jelous because of feelings of insecurity, so I'd say its a good sign if he's not.
