I started dating this guy about a month ago and we decided to go exclusive, but to not 'plan' on anything (whatever that means). He'd talk about visiting me in my hometown, and meeting my parents,etc. But tonight, (after we had cuddled for a while) he asked me if I ever "thought about our future," and asked me why (about a week ago) I asked him if he was going to visit me in my hometown (uhh...because he said he wanted to!). I answered by saying that sometimes I wonder what's going to happen in the future (who doesn't?), then I asked him to answer his own question and he said "Not really...I try not to." What does this all mean? Does he want to stop seeing me? Does he think I am too serious about "us?" What is up with him?!?!

OK so the problem is that even you aren't expressing what you want. Its a big thing for a guy to ask a girl questions about future because most of the guys who aren't really serious do not tend to ask questions like that. My opinion is that he is into you, maybe you didn't answer that question seriously and guys you know are not really into "directly tell everything" kind of thing. SO may be you should tell him what you think and then let him tell his ideas.

I think he is thinking about the future, but you know, we always see in movies and shows that when people start talking about the future (like: what if we were married, how are our kids gonna look like, etc...) we tend to see the reaction, "Whoah, we're moving too fast" and this can lead to a break up. He probably is a bit nervous to open up that door. If you said in more detail the things you wonder about the future, he'd probably open up what he has in his mind.
