The man I luv & have been with for almost 4 yrs,living with for 1 1/2 years moved in with a friend of ours after her man went to jail This happened about 7 or 8 wks ago. Since then he calls me and comes over.He says he still has feelings for me Weve had sex, I want him back but it would be stupid to think that will happen since he seems to be pretty happy living where he is.I miss him, I love him I dont even know why.The whole time weve were together not even a b-day card,never took me anywhere,oh yeah once to dinner.But on the other hand he did a lot of things around here,as do I I guess I bitched to much like trying to get him to go to work in the morning and trying to get him to be financially responsible and pay his bills. Friends say Im willing to settle.I have never had anyone who wanted to "date" me.I cant have him,I believe he is over me,I cant stop thinking about him and I cry all the time. Cant someone please tell me how I can get him out of my heart and my head? SLP

first you sit down and figure out a regimented standard.

I had a girlfriend who every morning reminded me to go to work.
I asked her why she did it. It turns out to be just her habit because that's what she thought was normal.
I told her I went to work everyday before I met you, and I've never suggested I might take a day off. I feel slightly bored and belittled by the way you treat me.
So that's a failure of communication, but she didn't nag me to pay my bills because I always paid them as soon as I got them.
Either that other woman is better looking than you
or you don't know how to be enticing and hard to get.

Don't rush into bed with anyone, but pursue the friendship of a guy you might have just met or barely know. You'll find the more you get to know someone new, the quicker your heart will heal coz u wont be spending/WASTING all ur time torturing yourself over your ex. Just remember he left u and would only walk out on you again when it suits him.

You can start by writing a journal of all your thoughts about this guy.Write whenever you feel the urge.It will help you get him out of your head and as you write day to day you will be able to see just how he affects you when you go back and read what you have written.Sometimes we can never fully get someone out of our heart and thats ok as long as we can function on a daily basis.
Someone told me to get closure with a guy that was in my heart and head,only problem he was no longer living.....so I wrote about him alot.He is not in my head but will always be in my heart.

Change your phone number and don't give it to him. All you are to him is a booty call. His probably been cheating on you with her for a while now and Your better of with out him if you had to make him go to work and be responsible. His a grown man he should be responsible anyway. He just knew he could get away with it with you. Don't let him even come into your house. You should get mad at yourself for being so easily persuaded to fall for such crap. THEN GET MAD AT HIM FOR THINKING SO LITTLE OF YOU THAT HE WOULD ONLY THINK OF YOU FOR A BOOTY CALL.
