he is amazing in so many ways except he has this one problem . his ego! he is an actor and we have been together for 3 years. i have always trusted him up untill the last year. im very intuitive and im trying to learn to trust my gut cause it is seldomly wrong. last year i trusted my gut and i looked at his messages (so unlike me) and i found messages of a sexual nature to and from an actress. i confronted him and he first tried to lie but then admitted it but said nothing had happened and it was his ego blah blah blah! i forgave. like i said he is an actor and he wants it bad and in the begging of the year he was caught doing a publicity stunt with a very well known celebrity and he broke up with me for his career. he tried very hard to get me back and he did. now i found more messages to and from another girl sexual too but also seems more. he said it was nothing just flirtations and he would never be with anyone else and he loves me blah blah. my gut is grumbling. but i love him.

Honestly? If you can't trust him, you shouldn't be with him. There is no joy or happiness to be found in a relationship where you will feel you need to check his messages - or worse - if you KNOW he is sending these "innocent" messages out. It is disrespectful, and hurtful to you. To blame it on hiis ego seems silly to me, and I would find someone who will worship you and treat you with the respect that everyone deserves.

My own intuition tells me you should move on, as difficult and painful as that may be. For the foundation of a relationship is trust and integrity. Both of which he seems to have difficulty expressing. I, too have been in love with people who were simply not right for me and my ultimate happiness.

My heart goes out to you.

can you handle these constant let downs, id dump him and pray to never go back. sorry but i think you deserve more, and are setting yourself up for a miserable and paranoid life that will eventually make you uneasy around other girls and bitchy and then he'll use that against you and tell you your nuts.

Email me if you want a different perspective. I can't say the responses you've received are wrong but I can shed some insight privately if you want it.

Three words: DUMP HIM NOW. You will not change his ego. If you stay, I guarantee you will regret it.
