Wow that is a rather awful situation to be in.

As a Youth worker/carer I feel so bad for you. I am constantly watching what I do, how I do it, and what I say to people. I mostly work with young people with disabilities.

Obviously you have pleaded your innocence, to the police. Sadly they may not believe you. But you have a chance if your partner is known to them.

Seek advice from a lawyer. As they will assist you along with the whole process. I would assume that as you have had no previous record, you may get a huge fine, and community service. But given the type of drug "you had in possession" and the Judges stance on drugs, can play a big part in the out come. So lawyer up.

As for your partner, give him the ultimatum fess up, or he is so dumped (hash, but if the drugs was really is his, and he is any sort of man, he'd fess real quick). If you stay with him, the next lot of drugs, he passes on to you, could see you in jail.

As for your studies, talk to the co-coordinator of Youth services, where your studying, and tell them straight up, what has happened, and ask them for their opinion, about your chances as a Youth worker, with a drug possession record against you.

Good luck!

depends on your state and if this is the first time you've ever been in trouble. You will most likely have a lot of community service and have to pay a fine (or your parents, since you're a minor). If this is something that has happened before, you could go to a juvenile jail for a period of 3 months or possibly more. If you don't learn your lesson from all this and continue to smoke, carry, or deal maijuana, then you'll bounce in and out of juvenile detention centers until you turn 18 (sometimes 16 in certain states) and then you'll just be sent to prison. Good luck getting a job. You can clear this all up if you learn your lesson. I'd throw myself on the mercy of the court and let them know how deeply sorry you are for breaking the law.

Unless your partner owns up to the fact that the drugs were his you are going down for this. Your clean record will help and if you tell your attorney the absolute truth he can maybe get you probation. Be sure to tell him if you knew your partner had the drugs and any other important details. Your chances of not being convicted are very small unless the confession happens.

Give up who gave it to you, get them to confess it was thiers.

But if your partner had it, it is showing a bad choice of friends, and does not look like you are working hard to stay out of trouble, since hanging with people that do drugs and have drugs always gets others into trouble also

Your partner needs to admit it was his/hers...or you can persuade the judge into believing it was your partner's beyond a shadow of a doubt.

You may need a good lawyer.

Tell the police that the drugs were his which of course your boyfriend will deny. but will not be able to they were yours i hope this A*^hole doesn't destroy your life. Ask your lawyer what to do they are the proffessionals in this area. hopefully your boyfriend will get found with more so he has no higher ground on you.
