Smiling and lines around eyes?

Is it common for teens to have lines around their eyes when they smile (not wrinkles just yet, but just fine lines around the under eye area)?

I developed a smile line near my mouth when I was just a child, about 8 years old. I still have it at age 22, and it hasn't got any deeper than it was the first time I saw it. I also have some lines under my eyes, I think, but I haven't really looked at it lately. Anyway, people think I'm still in school, and my neices and nephews take me for someone their age (they're only 8 to 10 years old!). So, basically, I don't even look 22 with those faint lines. And, I've seen girls and guys my age with more lines on their faces, but they still look their age. Honey, just keep smiling!

I'm 17 and I have small lines around my eyes and so does my sister who's 20. its normal! just keep smiling because I like to think of them as how much fun I've had

hey, I have eyes like dead people have, some said it looks scary.I have some problems with health I think.I have blue lines under my eyes.Sometimes they're disappearing and then I feel happy, so you can take it easy! and about smile lines, they're very big when I'm laughing loud, but that's totally normal!

Absolutely. Smile lines are a badge of honor! Besides, frowning would NOT give you a "wrinkle-free face." You would just have "frown lines" instead of smile lines - and that ain't pretty.

i think it shows u smile a lot and probably have the sweetest disposition. Personally i had forehead creases by the time i was a creche coz of scowling at everyone. ur better than me sweetie. AND look at Jennifer Love Hewitt when she smiles. She has the same lines round her eyes. Gorgeous.

its crows feet. you may need botox injection. or a chemical peel.
