I don't think anyone can truly answer that correctly enough except yourself. Your the only one who can understand what effects it would have, if any.

Well, they may not be best friends after you do. It depends on if the girl you want to take out, doesn't care if she risks her friendship with your ex. I would never date my best friend's ex. It just isn't respectful.

well, there shouldn't if the bestfriend is cool with it.. but sometimes girls says its fine but inside they dont feel its ok.. so I would suggest you wouldn't go out with your ex's bestfriend..
