Ordered a calzone for delivery with my credit card. Got a call back 15 minutes later. They accused me of making harrassing phone calls, cussed me out, and refused to deliver my order. They said that the harrassing phone calls came from a blocked number but they thought/knew it was me harrassing them. I obviously didn't do it. She continued to yell ay me and cuss at me... so I asked for her boss, and she said that she was the manager. I drove to the place to get my credit card information and address back from the crazy person that called me cussing. She refused on the grounds that the owner took the information and left.

I want an apology from the lady that was rude, so I am getting in contact with the owner tomorrow. Whether or not the owner can get me the apology, I want to make sure as many people know about this terrible business etiquette as possible.

I need suggestions on how to get the word out. Thanks

I would strongly advise against starting any kind of Internet smear campaign as they might be able to use that as grounds for a lawsuit.

Yes, the Better Business Bureau and a good talk with the owner is indeed the best route to take. If you do not get satisfaction out of the owner, you might also talk to your states Attorney General's Office and they can better advise you as to what steps you may take from there. Especially since they failed to provide you with the goods you ordered AND refused to return your payment information.

I would also ask the Attorney General's Office about writing a scathing letter to the editor and where your legal limitations lie.

First take a deep breath, do not go in there upset. That is really horrible and not acceptable behavior from anyone working in customer service. Sorry, that women should be off work suspended for a couple of weeks. If not fired. I would simply state to him exactly what happened. This is just crazy, what right did she have to call anyone, if she knew the number the call was coming from she should have called the phone company. And in this case she did not even have a number and picked someone at random and called you yelling, cursing, refusing services,. Hmm, what a psycho. Just tell the owner exactly what happened. These behaviors are really bizarre and not at all acceptable. Good luck to you and God bless

You could mention it to your friends and colleagues. That usually works. Then if somebody mentions that pizza place to them they will remember what you told them about it and tell the others about it etc. and warn people about not doing business with this place. You'd be amazed at how much a story like this can spread if you only tell a few people about your experience.

File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. And talk to the owner like you said.

Spread the word. Tell as many people as you know. Send out e-mails to everyone in your address book. Let them know of the bad service that you received and for them to keep spreading the word to everyone you know. Chain e-mails don't take long to start or circulate.
