In my opinion, if you are going to play hard to get, don't overdo it as some women will take this as either you being a total snob or too full of yourself.
The best advice I can give is to be friendly but don't appear as though you are chasing after them.

If you don't know, you don't have it in you. If you don't have it, it means you have not developped it during your life, so it means that you can't afford to play hard to get. You will have the opposite results, no one will take the trouble of trying to "get" you.
