With my first gf we were discussing how many minutes should the average sex act last. What is normal? Second, how many times should a guy be able to start over and have another O?

This makes me laugh... lol.
Okay, sex doesn't last for a few mintues I'll tell you that.
You can make it last a long time... enjoy it.
What is normal? I don't think there is a standing time for normality... just do it till both of you well.. how do I put it? Feel satisfied.
Sex is something that is for the both of you remember that.
How many times should you start over? Depends on you and your partner. Does she want to do it again? Can you still keep on going? Ask yourself and your partner these questions.
Hope this helps. ^_^

I think sex doesn't really counts on how long it should last. As long as the intercourse is good, that's it. It's not about the quantity, it's ALL about the quality that matters the most. I've heard a guy can normally perform 5 - 8 times a day with a single partner before he can have another real orgasm. For ladies, they can have as much as they want it to. But BEAR 1 thing in your mind, too many intercourses can hurt one person's body and health, so don't it too many & often. So enjoy it but don't hurt yourself and your partner. You don't want to end up exhausted and painful after your make-out sessions!

An average sex session, foreplay included, should last about minimum an hour. Except for those lunch time quickies, that should be 15-20 minutes max!! Usually after ejaculation, it should take a man 20-30 to get an erection again. Stimulants can also be used to prolong your love makin session...

Personally, I always dreamed of having sex three times a day. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. It doesn't have to last long as long as you bot have the big "O". Time off now and then due to kids or stress or other related things is fine. But , multiple "O" for a woman is awesome.

the average sex act should last until both partners are satisfied
no upper or lower limits
how many times? as many as are comfortable
if you keep on trying for "just one more" you'll do yourself an injury, and it's a waste of time

The average i would think would be no more than 5 -10 minutes. You probably go for it again after two hours or so depends on your physical make up

Where do you take the start time from? when do you consider things to be over and done? I would say from the first inclination to the last heavy breath before dropping off to sleep should last for about ten or so hours. Or are you one of the wham bang type who from start to finish take about three seconds? be yourself and throw away your watch, get in there and enjoy life... both of you..................

It depends entirely on the party involves.
If it's between husband & wife :-3.5 minutes, once a week.
If between gf & bf :-20 minutes, twice daily.
If between married man & his mistress :-1.2 minutes once daily.
