There is no way to lose that much weight in that period of time that doesn't involve removing something. If you try a fad diet, or starvation, all that will happen is you will make yourself too ill to go on the trip and may end up in the hospital. Better to sensibly diet to lose around 10, and buy a girdle, if you are really thinking your appearance is more important that the pleasure of your presence. Otherwise,go as you are. I'm sure they won't mind at all.

Well losing this much weight this quickly is not impossible, depending on how heavy you are. If losing 30 pounds will make you average weight, don't count on it. In any case here's how to lose as much as possible: Drink ONLY water, nothing else. Don't snack during the day and don't eat sweets/dessert. Eat only a fist-sized portion of food for each meal item(meat, vegetables, etc.). Cook with PAM instead of butter or oil. Do not eat anything past 8pm. Stay away from fried food. Do some sort of cardiovascular exercise 5 times a week--walking, jogging, biking, etc. If you are not disciplined enough for the eating part, try the Subway diet. 6-inch sub for lunch, 6 or 12-inch for dinner; no cheese, mayo, or oil. I did this my freshman year of college and lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks, with no exercise. Lastly, sleep more. People don't realize the benefits of getting more sleep.

Short of cutting off an arm or leg, it's almost impossible to lose 30lb that fast! I was on the adkins diet and lost 20lb in a month, may want to try that, but I stayed on the induction phase the entire month. Good luck!!

I lost 24 pounds and 2 3/4" in my waist in 33 days on a no diet weight loss plan and it has not affected my health at all. Actually it has brought my blood pressure and my cholesterol back down into the "normal ranges"

that is way too much to lose in a month
I don't think it is possible.
Just don't stop eating it will slow down your metabolism and you will hang on to every calorie and fat cell.
Probably the quick fix is the Atkins diet.
Not good long term but a start.
Increase your activity...like walking swimming etc

surgeryyyyyyy otherwise, i really dont think there is a way. that would be 105,00 calories.
uhm......~1 pound a day....or more rather since this month is a week in.....
so.....since the metabolism burns about ~2000 a day for women......
uhmmmmmmmm you'd need to excercise like 3000 calories, and then eat 1500......or less
or you can go on a no carb diet.......i think that drops weight, otherwise i donno
