To bad we couldn't return a hair cut when we don't like it. I would be returning mine also. if your hair is just to short, but cut evenly,I would just let it grow. Try the messy look or try some hair wax or some hair glue. Maybe a flat iron will help with the cowlick. Good luck

first I would go to the manager of the store and ask for a refund. The tricky part about haircuts is you can't return them. But reputable salons (even the discount ones like Great Clips and SuperCuts) will refund for an unsatisfied customer.
Get tongue tied when you're in the salon? Take this question with you and remind yourself. You described perfectly the haircut that deserves a refund.
The manager may also offer another go at it to repair any areas that will need to grow out better. If you aren't comfortable with that, say no, that you would prefer a refund.
Don't be mouthy and angry going in though. Everyone makes mistakes, and even though we are entitled to have it made right, no one wants to be snapped at - especially if they didn't even do the haircut themselves. Respectfully asking for what is right will take you a long way.
Until then, I would unfortuantely wear a cap or hat. It will grow back soon - and then hit a different salon for the next haircut.

I would go back to the barber and say that you are unhappy with the cut, and would either like your money back or for your hair to be fixed. Have them cut it short enough to spike, and then once it is long enough to get it cut the way you really want it, go somewhere else. Be sure to go back to the person that cut your hair or they will look at you like you are an idiot.

If it weren't too short I'd tell you to have the salon do it over again at no cost to you. But you need to grow it out, so go back there and tell him what the problem is. Tell him to show you how to style it. If he can't show you how to do so to your satisfaction, you need a refund. I promise, it's the only thing that will make you feel better.

Live with it.
Remaining confident as ever, even while having a bad hair day (or month in this case), send a strong signal about yourself.
Donald Trump has bad hair and he's still as confident as ever. Salute..

you should have refused to pay for this one ,next time hold a razor between the barbers legs .to stimulate him to focus on doing a good job.
the best you can do now is to go on a holliday ,it will grow again soon enough

Aw...****. I thought you were a girl.
And if you were a girl I would have given you great girl advice because I always hate my haircuts but after a week love them because I can style them right.
You just have to get used to it. Keep experimenting.
