Any time you violate the command to LOVE, you sin!

The definition of love is summed up in the 10 commandments!

It does not matter whether you profess a religion or not, everyone expects to be treated according to the ten commandments!

If you disagree, tell me which of the commandments is irrelevant to you as far as others interactions with you are concerned!

sin is what separates you from God. its the bad stuff that you do, think, believe etc, which separates you from God. thats why God hates it, He doesnt want you to be away from Him! but when Jesus died on the cross He took care of sin once and for all.. now the only sin you can go to hell for is not accepting Jesus, coz He paid the price for sin so that you dont have to. you can accept and recieve that salvation from sin, or you can reject it. when we reject it, we are slaves to our sins and lost in them. when we accept the payment Jesus made (the cross etc) then when we sin, we just say sorry and keep on going, coz the sin is taken care of.

is one mans sin anothers pleasure? not really. all sin SEEMS pleasurable... otherwise why would we want to sin if it wasnt seemingly pleasurable? the devil isnt stupid, he makes sin look desirable, but the result of every sin is some kind of nasty concequence. sometimes its immediate, other times its so far away that when the consequence happens we go "why did this happen to me?" and we dont realise its a result of an old sin we committed. its not God punishing us, its a law of life. like gravity, what goes up must come down, when we sin, bad stuff eventually results.

To sin in both Hebrew and Greek means to miss the mark. The mark is the standard of God. So it also implies to fallen short of the standards of God.

In general terms, people equate it to have offences against God.

In the begining in the garden of Eden, God only gave one rule and that's for Adam & Eve to eat from every tree except the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. And the satan tempted Eve to eat from that particular tree, thus men as represented by Adam and Eve fell from the standards of God. This is what people know as the original sin.

Now there is a difference between sin and sins. Sin means an inward propensity to want to carry out offences. Sins are the fruit or resultant actions of the offence(s) you carried out.

Throughout history, people have their own definition of what is acceptable and what is not. Some take sin as against the 10 Commandments that God gave Moses to the children of Israel on Mount Sinai. For example, Thou shall not kill. But a lot of people missed the standards of God. When Jesus came, He explained that even if you were to hate someone, you have committed murder. The standards are now exposed to be so high that ALL men have fallen short of the glory of God and none can save themselves except by accepting THE Savior, Jesus Christ.

To answer your question "Is one mans sin another mans pleasure & visa versa or whatever..?"

It depends on how that person define sin. According to his own standards, or according to God's standards. I personally think that it all got to do with conscience. To carry out an offense, the conscience of some people will condemn them whereas for others, they will ignored it. Of course, for the saved, they know that there is therefore now No condemnation to those who are in Christ.

Sin is a term used mainly in a religious context to describe an act that violates a moral code of conduct or the state of having committed such a violation. In monotheistic religions, the code of conduct is determined by God. Colloquially, any thought, word, or act considered immoral, shameful, harmful, or alienative might be termed "sinful".

Common ideas surrounding sin in various religions include:

Punishment for sins, either from other people, from God either in life or an afterlife, or from the Universe in general
The question of whether or not an act must be intentional to be sinful
The idea that one's conscience should produce guilt for a knowing sin
A scheme for determining the seriousness of the sin
Repentance from (expressing regret for and determining not to commit) sin, and atonement (repayment) for past deeds
The possibility of forgiveness of sins, often through communication with a deity or intermediary; in Christianity often referred to as salvation

every act that is done, mostly is with good intentions, your good deeds may be bad for others,

and every act you do is as per the instructions of GOD, you are only a catalyst.

so sin is something which you do wrong as what your ming says

listen to your mind where GOD lives and you will nevere sin

Sin is any activity that has such a hold over you, such an attraction to you that you feel in your heart instead of the love for the Father and for all humans that you should be feeling there as Jesus rules you from the throne of your heart. When you engage in sin, you kick Jesus off of the throne of your heart, wrest back control of your life in order to engage in that sin, and afterward you notice that Jesus is gone from you, it seems impossible to contact God again, and all the joy and hope drains out of life, leaving it all seeming grey and futile.
Look at the seven 'deadly' sins - - - they're all overwhelming emotions! But if you keep them in their places, if you feel pride in your head and lust in your groin rather than in your heart, you can allow their temptations to flow by you while you rejoice with Jesus still in control of you, still riding the throne of your heart, and you can remain in contact with God, so life will not lose its savor, and your journey will not be futile.

Sin, sinners and sinning are words used by religious controllers to make other people feel guilty. By alternating irrational promises of eternal life on the one hand, and threats of eternal punishment on the other, religious controllers are able to manipulate people into obeying their every command, including forking out 10% or more of their income to keep them wealthy beyond the wildest hopes of most of their followers. Of course, such wealth only leads them into temptation, as we have seen repeatedly.

There are two type of sin :
1) Sin related to human….A sin is that thing when u try to hurt other human. Either his hurt physically or emotionally. This type of sin God only forgive if that person forgive u. a worst kind of sin

2) Sin related to God. When u don’t follow Gods right path then it’s also a sin. Only God will forgive u from this sin and we should ask mercy from God for that and as God is merciful he will forgive us. This is my faith.

the bible states sin as " missing the mark". We sin when we go against god and what he has set before us as His will. Unrepentant sin leads to death. "for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Romans"

Anything a Christian thinks is against the bible. Too bad they pick and choose which parts of the bible they live by and every single one of them has different interpretations.
