Supplements are supposed to be treated as part of your meal. However, milk and caffeine affect the absorption of iron in a negative way while orange juice enhance its absorption.

Typically with a meal is better. I'm not sure why, might help with absorbtion of the vitamins.

I dont think it makes any difference ,when you take them ,most people take them at breakfast ,as a habit ,so you will be less likely to forget to take them or take them twice
