I want to get a kitten but I don't want to get a really fluffy kitten because I don't really like FLUFFY, FLUFFY cats, I just want a cat that's fluffy but not too fluffy. Like one that's really soft and friendly. Can anyone recommend a breed?

Crossbreeds are good for this sort of thing, so you might want to see if you can get a cross between one of the long-haired breeds and a short-hair (they tend to take after the long-haired parent more, just so you know...)

As for as specific breeds go... Off the top of my head, I can't think of any that are fluffy but not fluffy-fluffy. You could simply type 'cat breeds' in a search engine, have a look at the pictures that come up for each breed, and then look at the usual temperment.

persian kittens arfe obviously fluffy but if you look around and are not bothered about a particular breed then there are many cross breeds/morphs that are very fluffy. Dont just go for the first one you see broaden your choice by checking out lots of different litters. good luck

I would recommend Ragdolls. They are super sweet and cute. Oh - and fluffy.
