You got it. Try the the St. Jude prayer Its long but if you would like me to e mail it to you I will. St. Jude is the saint you pray to when someone is terribly ill & also I believe for lost causes & emergencies. I'm not certain I learned it from my nanny who was Catholic. But EVERY TIME I said that prayer my prayers were answered. Good luck with smoking. I have copd & asthma & I still can't give it up,Im just not ready yet

Father we pray that this lady be delivered from this habit of smoking. Help her to replace this habit with a positive virtue. May you draw near to her and make her aware of your presence.

I pray thee, be successful in all thy endeavors, but most especially in this one; I quit twenty years ago, but still remember the difficulty.

yes, I pray that you have the strength to overcome it and that God will help you to obtain that strength. If you fall, don't get frustrated, it takes steps.
Good Luck and God Be With You!
