I want to see about foster homes i was in and details about a lot of things that my adoptive parents have kept very vague. I don't get a long with them and i want to find my real brother and a lot of missing pieces from my life.

The simplest way is to contact the vital records department of the state in which you were born. There is no one way of handling this. Kansas is the most adoptee-friendly state. A person born there and then adopted can actually request their original birth certificate. It might not have much more than their birthmother's name, but that's more than nothing. Find out your rights as an adoptee and if it's possible to get a copy of your original birth certificate.

Other ways include searching the internet for groups which specialize in finding out information for adoptees, but I'd say make the most of the journey by doing as much as you can yourself.

I'm not really sure on this, but do you know what adoption agency you were adopted from? You could maybe go there and ask them. You could also probably try doing research on the internet with your last night and all that. You could also even ask your adoptive parents even if you don't get along, because your old enough and I don't think they can keep that information from you.

Sometimes hospital records will tell you who your real mother is. Maybe finding out where you were born might help. This way knowing her real name can give you so many answers and a solid place where to start. Good luck on your journey ahead of you.
