You should try to eat lots of protien and weight lift, muscle weighs more than fat, and you can gain weight and still be fit doing it!

Protein and weights are the way to go. Lots of red meat, and get to the gym at least three times a week.
The important thing about weights, is not to lift anything really heavy, because this is really bad for you. Lift (relatively) light weights, but do a lot of repetition. Only lift about 30% of your body weight.
To put on 16 kgs will take some time, probably more than a month, if you try to do it too quickly you will make yourself very sick. Ease you way into a new routine and then keep it up.

I myself am under my BMI too. I say as long as you are eating well and exercising regularly you don't need to stress too much. The BMIs are good but even with a healthy lifestyle you may still be under or over the "healthy weight". It really depends on your body type because naturally some people may be under or over and still be quite healthy.

Have your body fat percentage checked first. Sometimes BMI isn't that accurate. If your body fat is not lower than 6%, you may well be ok. Ideally it should be between 10% and 18%. HTH : )

Body weight is a symbol of how we much weigh ourselves up. Any kind of imbalance there usually reflects as a swing away from our normal body weight, which usually depends on our body type and of course our genetics.
Being overweight means that you have lost your centre and instead are trying to find your weight on the outside, in food, people or things; while being underweight means that having lost your centre you have burnt up all that you have physically to get back that sense of power. Overuse of physical power means that you try too hard to have control over your external life and in the process use up all your physical energy, you simply trying to hard to be strong.
Being over weight on the other hand, you do the reverse you give up all your control and allow universe to play around with you while getting more and more angry and struggling within.
So unless we clear that out any thing internal that might be causing it, using external means to find that balance will be futile as it will never be long term plan. And that would mean that we would be like missing out on the whole point that body weight is just a symptom how much our spirit has weight in our life, body is just a carrier of it.
This takes us to a lot deeper issue than we can think of in a minute here and usually means that we need to stretch ourselves out deep in ourselves and connects ourselves to our spiritual side, the side that shows that the best way to nourish our body is through our own spirit and when we c disconnected from our own spirit the body usually ends up showing it to us, by being off its natural self.
So we either depend too much on physical self to give us our sense of power and ignore our spirit altogether and it goes into hiding behind layers of fat, so that it doesn’t have to get hurt so often in us as we refuse to stand up for its protection, in either case we miss a genuine connection of love with our own spirit and thus the body shows it to us genuinely as we get physical proof of inner imbalance and unless to we clear that out our external means remain what they are - external..
For our body to feel power we need to allow our spirit or inner guidance to take charge of our lives and unless we are willing to allow that to happen we would always be struggling with our weight.
No matter how hard we may try once we find our weight on the inside in the spirit there is no way you can stay out of balance on the outside.

1.) drink atleast 2 glasses of full cream milk.
2)include lots of banannas in your diet in case you have no kidney problems.
3.) take 25 grams of kala chana and soak in 125 gms water in evening.in early morning,afer exercise,and eat them raw after chewing properly and drink the same water in which they were soaked with 1-2 tsp honey/without honey.
