There are two different ways to answer. If you fill the glass up with water halfway, then it's half-full. If you fill it up all the way then drink or dump out half, then it's half-empty. TAH-DAH!

If you are a +person then it is halve full, but if you are a -person it is halve empty. it is all about perception and comes from circumstances as well as ones own character. so you decide .
