CETAPHIL IS ALOT GENTLER !!!

2006-11-05 17:40:42 · answer #1 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

Both are as bad as each other chemical wise but I would say go for Cetaphil based on the fact that it is more gentle. I have used both and Neutrogena dried out my skin and caused breakouts and Cetaphil did nothing for my skin. I am now using a cleaner that has tea tree oil in it and then using witchazel as my toner and my skin seems to be improving.

Personally I use Cetaphil. But I'm also on Differin and Duac, two prescription topical meds. The Cetaphil works well with them because it's extremely gentle, and my skin gets dried out enough with the scrip meds.

Are you talking about cleanser, moisturizer, or what? Personally I like Cetaphil, and I've used both.

cetaphil makes your skin very very soft! it does keep pimples like undercontrol, but sometimes you may need to use a few other products.......like i wash my face twice a day with aqua glycolic (prescription) and then i also use differin, proactive and sometimes this other stuff but i have no acne at all! i just use it when i get a pimple
my skin is fresh and clean <333

I personally like cetaphil and indeed it's recommended by doctors to use when you experience pimples. You can see some reviews here:
