You chose to be here in this world.. you wanted to come at this time to your parents and your family. Those of us that have been born into this world were the ones who made the affirmative choice. Those others who rebelled and followed the other plan were not allowed to come here to gain a body. You cannot remember any of those choices but you are here and that is your proof! Read the bible and you will find more answers there!

atheist here

I'm going to give you the answer that believers are scared of. some people feel a need to believe they know the answer when all they do is just believe.

the answer is very simple and may surprise you

I don't know

you will likely never learn the answer to why you have been brought into this world, and if you become a believer you'll just be giving in to make believe.

knowing the answer to this question is not necessary for living.

I believe we all DID have the choice, but it's not something we remember. I believe we chose our parents, our nationality, hardships, and the types of experiences we would need to grow and develop spiritually. I believe that only after we learn our lessons, can we return to the Kingdom of Heaven.

(I'm expecting a lot of thumbs down from those that don't agree with my beliefs, but that doesn't make this a bad answer -- just sharing my opinion because it was asked.)

I will claim here and now, that I remember coming into this world.
Behind me, I left three figures, they seemed to be dressed in brown habits, hoods and ropes around their waists. I sensed that they were the best friends I ever had, and they were doing their best to assist me.

I remember speeding through space toward Earth, passing through constellations, and what propelled me was absolute sheer joy. I could see the Earth coming up at me, but I wasn't afraid of falling.

In fact it is said in Hindu scriptures that the baby in the womb remembers all its suffering of previous incarnations and prays to god saying"lord let me not be born again"
But the choice is not his as he has to undergo his karmic life for which he has been created.

God has placed you here for a reason. You may not know what it is but if you pray to Him and ask Him for is guidance He will show you the way. You have to be paying Him attention for you to see.

We have no choice of coming or going . It is in the hands of God. But living your life good or bad is left to you. So choose your living.
