My top left canine tooth is above my incisor and there is a gap where it should be cuz i had the baby tooth pulled. its been like that for about the last ten years. My right side did it too but that one kind of went in its place better. Ive had soical anixety for the last ten years because im scared to talk to anyone cause im always scared im gonna be asked about my "fang"? I dont even have a job because I'm to scared to go to interviews. I just stay at home w/ my 7 month old 24-7. Does anyone know of procedures that can move it into place? just that tooth I'm alright w/ the rest of them. or have it pulled and a fake one put in the gap? and how much the cost would be? When i had the baby tooth pulled it was paid by my insurance cuz my dentist sent me to an orthodontist to have 3 of my baby teeth pulled.

AS AN ADULT, THIS TOOTH WILL NOT MOVE WITHOUT ORTHODONTICS. W/O BRACES OR W/O INVISALIGN THIS WON'T BE POSSIBLE. MANY ADULTS HAVE BRACES NOWADAYS SO GETTING BRACES OUGHT NOT KEEP YOU FROM WANTING TO GET A JOB. THEREE ARE CERTAIN DENTAL FILLINGS (COMPOSITES) THAT CAN ALSO BE PLACED TO CLOSE A GAP. BY THER WAY ORTHODONTIST NEVER PULL TEETH - - THEY REFER YOU TO YOUR DENTIST FOR BABY TOOTH EXTRACTIONS.

They do have clear braces now. I can't remember what they are called (but your dentist will know). It is like a clear tray that goes over your teeth (oh actually I think it's called veneers or something). You take them out to eat (I think) and then wear them all the time when you're not eating. Other than that, I'm not sure there is any way to fix your teeth without braces (and I think they actually qualify as braces - just not the metal kind). BTW, I have metal braces (and I'm 23) and they are not that bad. Good luck!

They have a type of 'braces' called Invisalign, kind of like retainers, they are clear and will help align the tooth.
