1. good nutrition. these days even if you eat a balanced diet you must supplement (take multivitamin pills & herb preparations)because modern farming methods are more focused on making produce look and taste good instead of feeding them with the proper nutrients.

2. build muscle. do 20 mins of cardio exercise per day (brisk walking, running, stair climbing, rowing, or biking) and some gentle muscle exercise (sit ups, push ups and presses). best to ask an instructor on the specifics

3. drink 16 glasses of pure water each day. don't binge it but spread out drinking half glassfuls throughout the day. buy a great water fliter like eSpring and have a water bottle with you everywhere you go.

4. take Nutrilite Carbohydrate Blocker and any Nutrilite protein product. most of our calories today come from carbs and we've a shocking shortage of protein and essential fatty acids. calories from protein and unsaturated fat are ready energy for your activities, but carbs need to be converted first before they give you energy. usually what happens is that you end up with an excess of carbs and that it stores in your body as fat.

The best way to burn calories faster is to work on building muscle. Muscle burns calories a lot faster then fat, and muscle continues to burn calories even when you are not working out.
