Our 6 year old daughter was saying something very strange one night. Is it biblical?
It was about 3:00am and my wife and I awoke to our daughters voice. She was standing at the foot of our bed saying very strange things while sleep walking. We both heard her say
"Mother, I saw someone casting out devils in your name, he did not follow us" She kept saying that to my wife. When we grabbed her we realised she was sleep walking and had deeply scratched her arms. Does doesnt remember any of it and says she has never heard that statement before. Has anyone ever heard of this? any help would be appreciated.
p.s we are not religous and dont go to church

seriously, these are the signs of some sort of posession--especially the scratches--look it up if you don't believe me

This similar thing happened to me when I was a child. My mother called me a liar, my aunt made fun of me, I was lost. Now I'm 32 and my mom doesn't even remember. I feel like I had a hallucination. If only my mother had told a church or even a counselor I wouldn't feel so crazy today. Please don't let that happen to your daughter tell someone.

Religiously speaking 3am is suppossed to be the time of day associated with the devil because it is the opposite of 3 pm, the time that Christ died on the cross. It wouldn't hurt to have your house blessed or cleansed by whatever religion you feel comfortable with.

Jesus proclaimed this against those who cry Lord but were not faithful to him only in name or label. Jesus said that so called believers or false prophets cast out devils in his name but were not his true followers.

I have never heard anyone say that before... thats really creepy. Maybe you should talk to a preist or someone who would be aware of sayings and events.

One of the first prayers I learned as a child, I will entrust to you and your daughter.

I actually learned it in Ukrainian first, and the literal translation of the Ukrainian version (if I can remember it correctly)
"Angel of God, Guardian of mine
Forever stay by me
Morning, evening, day and night,
Be for me my guide and light" AAAAmen
There's a good one for St Michael the Archangel as well.
I'm sure you can google it.
Say it every evening.

wow. that sounds freaky. :S im not sure wat to say. maybe call the police, or hospital, or a priest? i think the scratches are signs of possession. keep an eye on her. if things escalate, call one of the people i mentioned earlier.
