Charlie,

You,my Friend, are very bias because some Christians were atheists in the beginning like myself. My parents were atheists and were never involved in organized religion nor surrounded by Christians. Now what is ur excuse? Your family consists of Christians and you very much surrounded them. Your question and asinine statements are invalid and very false.

And your thoughts are not influenced by the messages and music that you let fill your ears and by the company you keep? You indicate others being brainwashed as if you have proved you have not been, and that you haven proved you are not biased? We are all taught, and ever position has bias. Even a rock has bias -- if it is rolling its bias resist resting and if it is at rest that bias of the rock resist rolling. So to, are all individuals considering their own state of personal bias. Therefore it is not a question of who is biased and who is not biased but about which bias is the correct bias to be biased with.

So are you an atheist because you are surrounded by atheists? If you realize that, are you too brainwashed to question your belief without being bias?

I am sorry but one does not become a believer simply by being surrounded by other believers. It is a choice you alone must make. No one else can make it for you. Let me gently point out to you that you don't know what goes on in our minds or hearts. Therefore, in light of the things I just pointed out, your question is judging us on a virtually non-existent basis. I hope this answer has been a bit helpful.

I was born into Christianity but since I became a responsible human being I chose to keep my faith because upon due consideration I decided it is a good moral guide and if I keep its commandments then I cannot be let astray or get lost.

Not all christians. In fact, some of us have looked into other religions, and decided that christianity is the thing we believe in.

Honey, you don't know the first thing about my life, so don't pretend to! I have my own journey totally apart from how I was raised that actually led me to Christ.....I won't waste my time telling you, because the Bible says..."he who hath ears to hear, let him hear".....and CLEARLY, that wasn't the point of your judgmental statement! (BTW - How do you hold up your glasses?) ;-)
