Love is complicated because people are complicated. They have different backgrounds and experiences, they have different priorities and needs. They don't understand the other person completely. And people also change with time. Plus, sometimes one person feels more strongly than the other does.

But, in a way, the complexity of love is like the complexity of mathematics. At the core, they are both simple.

I watch the show "Friends" sometimes, and I remember this quote from Chandler at his wedding with Monica:

"Monica, I thought this was going to be the most difficult thing I ever had to do. But when i saw you walking down that aisle, I realized how simple it was. I love you. And any surprises that come our way will be ok, because I will always love you. You are the person I was meant to spend the rest of my life with."

simple, then itd be easy...kinda is true!! but , for real now. look at it this way, why are other things complicated? and plus, you are dealing with feelings and feelings are extremely complicated themselves. and plus, i dont think that "love" itself is complicated, its more the ppl that are making it complicated, "love" is rather simple, two ppl fall in love, get married, have children(well, most do) grow old together. but its the PPL themselves that make "love" complicated(you get the drift?). and plus, who ever sadi THAT it WAS going to be easy in the first place?
and plus again, what fun would it be if it WERE easy.,...jk jk jk, probably a lot more lol, but i mean, the hwole adventure of finding the right one the adventrue part being fun(hopefully)..meeting all kind of different ppl....its maybe compicated because its just spose to be a surprise. you can always try one of the physics ro something...that might do something? good luck!

Well it is because of the ever-raging battle between body and soul. In your soul or your heart or spirit, whatever, you know that love is pure. And needs only things like trust, honesty, faith etc to flourish. But overshadowing all of that for the majority of your angst-ridden and unenlightened existence is the corrupt, self-destructive pleading of the body. All your superificial urges and longings, all skin-deep preferences and expectations, muddying the waters of perception, distracting you from the pursuit of what really is required to liberate your malnourished heart. And as you chase the flesh, naively believing that you will know the one you were meant to love simply by casting your gaze upon him, the gift of love that we were all given in order to give again withers within you until it can no longer be restored to its original glory, and all hope for ever truly loving is lost.
The media doesn't help either.
