My dogs have had several litters of just one... I always wonder? is one puppy a litter? lol
It often happens with small dogs, or female's first litters, or very young males, or older males, and fat males..

Yes, but know how many puppies you're expecting and take her to a vet for a checkup after she delivers.
It's also possible for puppies to get stuck and moma dogs to need c-sections. (especially small breeds!)

In Irish Gaelic, "domestic dog" is coileán (suggested kohl-yahn). "Little canines" could nicely be Madra beag (Mah-druh byogg), Madadh beag (Mah-doo byogg) or Culaà beag (Koo-lee byogg) based upon the dialect. The English be conscious "collie" comes from the comparable source as Coileán and Culaà yet by using Scottish Gaelic particularly.

Yes it is, but you have to be very carefull when she is whelping because, the pup can grow to large, being it has all that room in there, and she can have problems delivering it. You can have x-rays done to make sure how many pups there are, and if there are only 1 make sure it is small enough that she will be able to pass it.

a smaller dog breed will have less pups ; a dog's first pregnancy could result in fewer pups; the vet should check the dog to make sure that she expelled all the pups and none remain dead.

That is possible but only at the expence of a few lives when the dog has bee pregnent for awhile go to a vet they should be able to just go in the dog and take the pups you dont want out(you really shouldnt do that though it can kill your dog)to get rid of pups easily just keep the ones you want and with the others put them in like a clear crate and put them by a church on saturday evening with plenty of food for the night.in morn ppl come and get pups after church
