Come on, is it that serious with your neighbor's past time?
Or did he puff all the 20 sticks in one go?
How much smoke can be blown into your house from 1 stick?
He has his rights too
Why not get a barrister and evict him from your neighborhood

your kidding right?
ETS(second hand smoke) has been debunked by the U.S. government as false.
your children are not in danger.
I also think it's funny how people say they are allergic to something they don't like...like a person who says they're allergic to broccoli because they don't like it.
I'm not saying your not allergic but by the way your Q is worded it seems like you want sympathy.and if you are allergic the amount that wafts over probably isn't harmful to your health.
please leave the poor person alone...they are smoking in their own home.
find something else you can be sanctimonious about.
probably not what you wanted to hear but facts are facts...look it up your online ETS is B.S.
By the way I don't smoke...but I also wouldn't make someones life miserable for doing so.

Talk to the smoker and ask him to smoke on the otherside of the house (the side not next to your house) Be polite though.

You can't stop someone from smoking in their own house. If it's truly objectionable and annoying, try asking NICELY if they can get a good air filter.

approach him and very kindly ask him to not smoke outside in the front or back yard because there are kids walking around everywhere and you dont want them to consume second hand smoke.
you may also want to mention that it sets a bad example for your kids who you are trying to teach not to smoke

Sorry, but if the person is smoking on their own property, you have nothing to say about it. What if they came after you about things you do in the privacy of your own home.

i'd simply talk to him and see if he'd be willing to alter his smoking habits so as to alleviate what you're experiencing in your own home.
If that didn't work - i'd fry some really strong fish outdoors with a fan pointed towards HIS place just so he gets an idea... ;) good luck.

Live with it. It's called tolerance. Every day our bodies absorb toxins from cars/industry/pollution/chemicals in food etc so deal with it.
