What makes you think we can't? After Armageddon, when all humans have everlasting life, and there is no need to financial gain, we will tear down all the vestiges of the old system and rebuild the Earth into a Paradise. Than, we will go out in the Universe to do the same thing.

Is the question "are humans headed for mass extinction?".If it is then I have to say no. Since I assuming you're a fellow Christan, I'm going to argue that God says "When he will destroy the earth. People will be buying and selling as normal". Then the Apocalypse will come. This could mean that all humanity is destroyed by some kind of cataclysmic disaster causing massive deaths but before that there will only be signs, not mass extinctions.

You do not have to guess. The answers are all in one book, written by 40 ought different writes over a long period of time, but with the same theme - God's revelation of Himself and his Plan of Creation. There will be no science fiction stories there - only the truth. Events will unfold and are unfolding exactly according to God's Plan. Start reading the Bible, dear...

You better believe that God said to take care of the Earth, and if you just give up on it,you're sinning.Read the Bible.God hates a coward,as well as waste.God helps those that help themselves.I know this, and I'm a freaking atheist!

but everyone , one person at a time can do something about it.
what do you do? sit back and believe that god will take care of it.(as he is now).
everything that lives , dies, why help it go faster. ignoring it when you are aware of it makes you part of the problem.
If you truley believed in God you'd do your part and make efforts to not contribute to the destruction of our planet.

We are evolving into a higher form of thought...
Those who survive will have to be very inventive
They will also have to be of one mind.
