Batteries for CD Players, IPOD's, Digital Cameras, etc.....
Do not seem to last very long anymore, Why?

You are very right they never last. That is why I bought rechargeable batteries. It only takes about an hour to charge 2 of them at the same time and they last about 3 times as long as the leading non rechargeable battery. I bought 4 for only 9 dollars and they have been going strong for about 2 years now. You should pick some up!!!

The more you buy, the more the battery manufacturers make.

the same reason why they do not make light bulbs last longer they woudl be alot of money because they coudl not sell as many
