Some of us parents forget that our children are sensitive at a certain age. That they need alot of attention, love, and encouragement. Maybe your mother is forgeting what she needs to do. Is she experiencing some problems? She might be taking out her frustrations on you. Some parents were raised in a home with lack of love. And they have not learned to show love to their kids. Just be honest with her, talk to her about your problems, and feelings. But do it when she is more receptive, or relaxed. Respect that she is your mother, and be a good person. Even if she is not. Do nice things for her, do all your chores, respectfully. In the end if she does not change, just learn from this example. And don't become anything like her when you have your own children. But above all, she is still your mother, love her unconditionally. We all fall short of the Glory of God, meaning we all sin and are imperfect. Forgive her!

I can feel where you are coming from. I let my mother run my life for 32 years. We have a perfect relationship, if i live my life according to her wishes, but when i got married and start speaking up for myself every thing hit the fan. So my advice is to you is dust your feet free and put her in god hands because you are only hurting your self and lowering your self-esteem to fit her agenda. I know you deserve better in life and you don't have to disrespect her, just let God fight that batter for you.

you have to figure out why she dose not like you in the First place. Tell her you love her and she will always be your mom no matter what she might think of you. she will come around one of these days I know for a fact that she will. mine did.

Stop trying ,it is not true that all mothers love there kids ,and its not your fault if she dosnt .Do be respectfull and do what you need to to keep the peace unles she is abusive then just walk away if you can ,Look up NPD and see if that fits her ,good luck ,you are not the only one to feel this way.

As mothers, we always love our children, but we don't always like them. Your question doesn't give enough information to offer a qualified answer. All I can advise is that you try a little harder to to appreciate her.

Don't worry if your mom likes you or not,as long as she loves you.You are her child not her friend.
