I know that being called one is supposedly better than the other. Please clarify?

well if the girl thinks you are cute, then she is really thinking it through and maybe considers you to be even more, if the girl says youre hot, beware , its just for sex and for fun, or day dreaming stuff, girls dont usually take you seriously,,,,that is for my case, dont generalize
