There is No such thing as forcing people into Heaven. God nor People can force anyone because they wouldn't be unbelievers or a Hell otherwise to put them in especially when they choose not to believe.

Freewill is great. God gives us all the choice to make decisions on our own. God has given us His Word so as to read and find out God's Will for His children. This gives us a working Word of the whats to do and the what not's to do. Can't beat that.
Who is trying to force anyone into Heaven. God's the one that allows us into Heaven and its not by force its by our choice.><>

According to their own writings, Christians and Muslims are never to force a person to accept their religion...neither by the sword or other compulsion.
In the Bible, God says the Christian is only responsible for sharing the message in a loving and understandable way.
If the person accepts the message into his heart or not, that is God's responsiblity and his alone. This is clearly stated.
If by "forcing" you mean the Christian is relentless is trying to share with you the "truth" or they try to squeeze you into conversations/debate you are not interested in, that is unfortunate. They are disobeying God. They are not acting as Jesus Christ wishes. They are giving Christianity a bad name. My sincere apologies as a Christian that some of my brothers and sisters are not more gentle in spreading what is supposed to be Good News.
MY FREE TIP to get proselytizers off your back:
Look them in the eye and respectfully tell them this, "When the Spirit moves me to want to believe, I'll come hear you out, but right now he isn't-- so please stop."
But don't automatically say this to every Christian you meet. Search your heart. One day you might want to hear about God or want to be prayed for. That is the Spirit nudging you.
Why some Christians are jerks:
Christians as a whole are imperfect as anyone as you can see in media.
You will be disappointed if you judge Christianity by its imperfect followers, Just a fact.
You need to judge it by how Christ lived his life and what He taught. He never preached to someone who didn't want to listen to what he had to say. Pick up a Bible in the library and read the Book of Matthew, Luke or Mark. EVEN IF HE DID NOT EXIST, how he lived was pretty great and you can't do wrong to imitate him.
FREE WILL:
God wants to his creation to give him "glory"....respect, worship, submission...love. He has to give "free will" because it is more satisfying to him if his children come to love him on their own. I think this make sense to most people...especially parents.

Apparently, most of your answerers don't quite grasp what the real question is or are deliberately avoiding it. No, you can't force someone into heaven, but that doesn't stop them from trying.
They'll try to take your free will from you because as they see it, you're standing in a burning building with your eyes closed. As you see it, you're just lighting candles. It's for your own good, of course. You'll thank them later. (yeah, right)

Who is trying to force people into Heaven?
Some people share their faith. That doesn't force anyone into anything.
Some foolish people are obnoxious about pushing their faith on people. Rather than forcing people into Heaven, they are forcing people away from Heaven.
Some people threaten with Hell. Same as above.
So don't insult every body's intelligence. Nobody can force anyone this society.

Nobody is forcing you. Can't be done. You DO have your free agency,so it's not possible. You could go the rest of your life and not have to put up w/ anyone talking about Christ to you..........Kind of hard when you hang out in the Religion section of yahoo answers though.

Nobody can force you to believe something. They can try to persuade you, but it's 100% your decision what you believe!
