Hey guys. I'm auditioning for a spot in a dance team and we have to choreograph a 30 - 45 second solo with a theme to it. (Some examples of themes: loneliness, friendship, contrast, etc., but i don't really want to do those). The style of dance would be jazz/lyrical. Any ideas? Thanks =)

You could do something with a thriller theme, that's always cool. Maybe choose a theme that's relevant to something going on in your life at the moment... that way your performance will really shine because you'll feel the movements and put your all into it. People always perform better when they are feeling the emotions of whatever they're portraying whether it be through song, art, words or dance.
