Motivation is fleeting, you have to search for a driving force! Something that keeps you going no matter what. Like for some its being a successful father/mother. It's this driving force that will ensure that you are continuing to drive towards your goal.
It is always different for everyone. You just have to find your passion, or more importantly realsie your passions and use those same driving forces to push yourself forward! I've been learning this recently and its started to help. It feels like a continuing motivation. Like i'll never lose it.
Hope you find it easier than i did :)

Sometimes when I'm feeling down & tired, I tell myself outloud to, "Get up & get the things done that you want to get done." Otherwise I'll feel worse knowing I procrastinated again. A hot cup of coffee & some music helps!!

there are a lot of ways...

the most common way is to lose to someone first and then feeling depressed. this make u feel like u want to improve in life.

another way is to find someone who isway better then u and then aiming to beat them. this usually works if u actually try.

and u can try watching a movie that inspires u to try, or read a story of a famous person. makes u feel like u wanna be them.

good luck

Sure, pretend that your a** is on fire all the time; that's sure to motivate you to stay away from the fire. :-P
