no. your hair falls out naturally, and then replenishes itself all the time. shampoo isn't the thing that helps these hairs to naturally fall out, it's scrubbing your scalp when you put shampoo in that does the trick. the hair would fall out naturally, it's just that when you scrub your scalp you're sort of helping them along - it's healthy for your hair.

No, we lose hair every day weather we shampoo or not. You can't go with out shampooing your hair. That's just gross! A clean scalp is healthier. The main thing that you need to do after shampooing is to use a conditioner to release tangles, and to use a wide tooth comb to detangle your hair. Never put a brush on wet hair! It will cause hair breakage and split ends.

The average person loses 80-100 hairs per day. You will lose more hair by not using shampoo. A healthy scalp is crucial to hair growth. If you don't wash your hair, you can start to lose it.

This can happen with certain shampoos. Some beauticians sell better products for hair loss. At grocery stores Nioxin is a good one I hear. It can be hormones and also stress or thyroid trouble.

Thankfully my hair loss has stopped now.

Actually, it depends on what quality of shampoo you are using... I don't think that if you use a good brand's shampoo, it will adversely effect your hair
