"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 6:23).

"That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, 'Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame'" (Romans 10:9).
"And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again" (2 Corinthians 5:15).
"Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me" (Revelation 3:20).

If you aren't a Christian, may I take a minute of your time? Okay.
Do you have any kind of spiritual beliefs? Sure. I believe in the Divinity of people. I think you'd call it Secular Humanism.
To you, who is Jesus? Juan's brother. They do Auto Detailing. Nice Guys.
Do you think there is a heaven or a hell? Heaven is the name of a strip club, isn't it? Hell is other people. In the Christian sense of the words? No, I don't believe in either.
If you died tonight, where would you go? I'd be worm-food. I'm still trying to decide if I truly believe in reincarnation, or whether I'm deluding myself for want of eternal life. Everyone wants to live forever, right?
By the way, if what you were believing is not true, would you want to know? I absoluely UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE want to be harangued by zealots. (Especially on weekends and during dinner! And especially when they bring their little kids with them so that you can't tell them what you REALLY think of them.) If my beliefs could be proven logically to be false, I would listen. Logical proof does not include: "How could this tree be there if not for god?" "If there isn't a god, explain to me how the Universe was created." Those questions make me want to slap people. Don't turn the question back at me. I don't have all the answers. If I had all the answers, I'd be world renowned (Probably a prophet) and far too busy to talk. [/rant]

Do you have any kind of spiritual beliefs?
i have God concepts but i'm not arrogant enough to believe that my concepts of God are the ultimate Truth.
To you, who is Jesus?
more like what is Jesus. Jesus is a construct of many previous cultural myths and a tool to keep the sheeple controlled and content.
Do you think there is a heaven or a hell?
only in the human psyche.
If you died tonight, where would you go?
i don't know and neither do you. death is an adventure. could be a dead end ... could be a beginning. cool mystery. huh?
By the way, if what you were believing is not true, would you want to know?
since i have no belief in the infallibility of my God concepts i expect that my concepts need correction.
PS. bandnerd? in reply to your edit... well, you started out OK asking some legitimate questions, seemingly curious about the thoughts and beliefs of others. but **sigh** then you go and ruin it by spewing the same old propaganda everyone has heard a thousand times. you never cared what i thought or felt. you just wanted a spot to put your pulpit. deceitful and full of duplicity is what you are. typical Fundy.

Do you have any kind of spiritual beliefs?
-- Absolutely. I'm spiritual in every sense of the word. I'm just not religious. There's a difference.
To you, who is Jesus?
-- An excellent teacher, an inspirational person, and in the words of a friend of mine, "a guy who's worth devoting an entire lifetime of study to." But not the son of God.
Do you think there is a heaven or a hell?
-- No, absolutely not. Those concepts are illogical to me. I don't believe anything is permanent or eternal, and that includes the places where may or may not go after death.
If you died tonight, where would you go?
-- I would move on to the next great stage of our existence as human beings.
By the way, if what you were believing is not true, would you want to know?
-- If you could convince me, then yeah, definitely. But with all due respect, you won't convince me.

I do not have ANY spiritual beliefs. To me, Jesus may or may not have existed (I have seen evidence for both sides), but if he did he was simply a historical figure, not a savior. I do not believe that there is a heaven or hell, and if I died tonight, I think that my brain would simply cease to function. I would have no thoughts, I would have no feelings, I would simply not exist. Yes, I would want to know, but nothing I have seen has given me any indication that I am not right in my thoughts on life, death, and spirituality.
A question you might have: I do not think that the world is any less beautiful without God or an afterlife. In fact, I think that my Godless life is happier than most. I look around me and see the beauty of life. I see the sky, the trees, my friends and family, and I marvel at their beauty. I do not need God to provide a reason for all this. And as for afterlife, I would be horrified if I was forced to live forever. The beauty of Life comes from its short reign. Read the poem by Wallace Stevens, "Sunday Morning." There are a couple of lines in it that say that life is only beautiful because of death:
Is there no change of death in paradise?
Does ripe fruit never fall? Or do the boughs
Hang always heavy in that perfect sky,
Unchanging, yet so like our perishing earth,
With rivers like our own that seek for seas
They never find, the same receding shores
That never touch with inarticulate pang?
Why set pear upon those river-banks
Or spice the shores with odors of the plum?
Alas, that they should wear our colors there,
The silken weavings of our afternoons,
And pick the strings of our insipid lutes!
Death is the mother of beauty, mystical,
Within whose burning bosom we devise
Our earthly mothers waiting, sleeplessly.
Indeed, without death there would be no point to life. Is your life really so empty that you need to fill it with a nonexistent god, an imaginary friend? I doubt so. However you seem to find nonbelievers such as I poor and unfortunate. Are you really persuaded by such a book as the Bible? One that was written thousands of years ago by a wandering desert tribe? I'm Jewish by origin, but I do not subscribe to those outdated views. Why do you need to?

Do you have any kind of spiritual beliefs?
No, I do not have any spiritual beliefs of any kind.
To you, who is Jesus?
A central character in the Bible, and the savior and messiah in Christian faith, as well as a prophet in the Muslim faith. Much of what he is purported to have said, does resonate with me. But I have yet to see any evidence which would convince me that he actually existed, or that he was divine.
Do you think there is a heaven or a hell?
No, I have seen no evidence that would cause me to believe in heaven, or hell.
If you died tonight, where would you go?
I would not go anywhere. My consciousness would be extinguished forever, and my matter would become inanimate.
By the way, if what you were believing is not true, would you want to know?
Yes, of course. The search for facts is the basis of my life, and I am always open to examining new data, provided it is factual.

I have very strong spiritual beliefs. but I don't believe in Jesus per say but I do believe in a heaven and Hell for lack of a better word. I do firmly believe that when I do die I will go what you would call a heaven because I have lived my life true to myself and without intentionally harming others.
I also believe in the the teachings of the bible, to a point. I just cant get into organized religion because I don't believe in passing judgment on other people... which all religions do.

1) Sure, as long as you respect my belief.
2) Yes, I'm a Muslim convert.
3) Isa/Jesus (pbuh) is a great prophet.
4) Yes, according to all God-fearing religions and scriptures.
5) My death and where I may be destined is entirely up to Allah.
6) If it came from you or any other religion....No. My grandparents were murdered by Christians. I have no desire to listen to that hypocrisy ever again.

I am a christian (seventh-day-Adventist) and i do believe in Jesus,
I am writing for those who dont believe in God.
There are two things you can believe in. 1.evalution, or 2.God
if you believe in evalution, how did this world come about? there was no purpose for you, you came from monkeys!
If you believe in God, you are here for a purpose, and God made the world
You can either beleive that someone loves you or that you came from a big BANG!
There is no evidence for evelution, scientist can even find anyhting so they just made it up and people are fooled by it, but for God, the Bible is evidence
Evil is aso evidence, Satan made evil, he knows that God exists, he just lurks around the earth trying to make people to believe that God doesnt exist so in the end when he goes to hell (which was originally created for Satan) he wont be alone and people will go to hell with him.
Jesus is the son of God and he came to the Earth to show people how to live so we can go to heaven instead of hell.
So you can choose to believe in evelution or Jesus. Whats the harm in believen in God, if it is true then you can go to heaven and if it is not true whats the harm?
And what if it is true but you dont beleive? you go to hell
I do think there is a heaven and a hell
if i died tonight, i think i would go to heaven
You have a choice, i dont choose for you. you can live for a purpose or for nothing

Ma'am, I'm a Christian, but you're welcome to a minute of my time.
Most guys, like me, aren't hard core "Religous Freaks" who go by the Book. To us, Christianity is a guidline; not a hard and fast rule.
Jesus was a Jew who lived and died some 2000 years ago. He was a great Teacher and we have a lot of good to learn from Him.
No one really knows whether there is Heaven or Hell and if I did die tonight, God Forbid, I don't think I'd have a clue as to where I'd be going ... and, frankly, don't think I'd care, then.
Oh, and by the way, if what I "believe" isn't "True", I really wouldn't care much. Because I merely take the good and discard the bad, like any other sensible person.
I sure as Hell wouldn't want to "Convert" to something else which could be a whole lot worse and a freaking lie dressed up as the "Truth".
Have a nice day!

Q1. I always try to do the best by myself, and no-one else. Trying to fulfill my inner potential.
Q2. A man who lived about 2006 years ago, in Western Asia, goood philosopher but definitely not a messiah.
Q3. I'm not sure if I believe in an afterlife, but i definitley don't believe in heaven or hell or the stuff you have to do to get in either place.
Q4. I will cease to be, maybe my spirit will carry on, but not to a religious place.
Q5. I think it is much more likely that what I believe is true than what you believe.
