i'm one of those strange human beings that have never had a supernatural experience of any kind. never felt a presence, or seen any ghosts, boogeymen, elves, angels, gods, devils, demons, gargoyles, smurfs, freddy kruger, pillsbury doughboys, etc. you name it, i haven't seen it.
i know, i'm a crazy one for not living in the land of make-believe.

Yes and no I have not knowingly had an encounter. I know some people who fell they have had encounters, but I am sure at times they do acts of kindness without revealing their identity.
I think my mother encountered one. For the first time, her house flooded a few years ago. She lives in an area where flooding does occur, the closest the waters have ever come in the past was to the edge of the yard. A man stopped at her house & managed to arouse her by ringing the doorbell. He told her to get our of the house and he moved her truck to the only area high enough in the entire area not to flood--a local church yard while she went to the neighbors. To this day, she does not know who he was. She had never seen him before or since. Her house and about 15 others were cut off by the water. This is a rural area where everyone knows everyone else. He would have been cut off by the flooding as well and could not have left the area. No one else saw him. Even odder, my mother doesn't let anyone drive her truck without her being along except for my brother and I. We still don't know how or why she would trust a stranger since she is a very cautious person.

I've had a few encounters with God and angels. For example, there was one night when I picked up my grand-daughter (she was 10 months old at the time) from the babysitters and we were headed home on the freeway. She started crying for some unknown reason. I tried to comfort her by putting my arm between the seats to reach her in the back seat. She just kept crying. It was dark and we were still a ways from home when she suddenly just stopped and then started to giggle. I turned my mirror to get a better look at her and saw her looking to her right and "baby talking" to someone I could not see. I got this overwhelming feeling that her Grandpa Brian (who passed away 20 years before) was sitting in the back seat with her just comforting her. I even asked out loud, "Brian, are you really there or am I just watching too much of John Edward (physic)?" Of course, he didn't answer me, but I KNOW it was him comforting our Savannah. :-)

WOW....that is wonderful. Praise God that your nightmares stopped. I have never seen an angel personified, I think once one kept me from falling off a bicycle, down a very steep and rocky hillside into water, though. The bicycle was definitely going to go over....and then in an instant, poof, the tire was back on the sidewalk! I'm thankful to God for His mercies and protection.

I believe in angels, although I've never had any personal encounter with any of them. My father has had though. He had a surgery and was unable to sleep due to the pain. It was pitch dark at night, and there was no one around. Suddenly, he saw a figure dressed in white approaching him. He stood by my father and stretched out his hand to touch my father's wound. My father said the touch felt hot. Soon this person disappeared and the room was pitch dark again, but my father's pain was gone too. To me, anyone who helps me or shows me kindness is an angel sent from God. :D

I think that we all have had encounters with angel....it's just that some have not recongized them as such. We all have our very own guardian angel who is with us always. I have never seen an angel as far as I know, but there is one encounter that I attribute to my angel. One day when I was little, I started to cross the street without looking. I felt a tug at my waist pulling me backward just as a car whizzed past. Thank God for angels!!!!
God bless,

I was with my mom and sister and we got a flat tire. Luckily, we were near a gas station and pulled in. We all sort of stood around wondering how to go about fixing it (yes, bad stereotype, I know...but still) Out of *nowhere* this man carrying a Bible walks across the station forecourt and offers to help. He changes the tire and my mom offers him some money and he says "oh, no thank you m'am, I do it in the name of Jesus Christ" and off he walks, back off into nowhere.
I often think that it's very possible that God sent an angel that day.

Yes, I do believe in Angels. Once, when I was leaving Las Vegas, (a 280 mile drive) we were all completly wasted. I asked my Angel to help me since I was less wasted than everyone else. It was like, one second I was out of it and the next second, I could see as clearly as if I had nothing to drink. It was amazing and I'll never forget it. Sometimes I ask my Angel to help in other bad situations and he/she always come through. Believe in them and they can do anything.

Wow, that is a cool story! I haven't had any encounters with them that I know of (Hebrews 13:12).
I know my Dad has...
He was in the hospital after getting a piece of steel in his eye. Doctors thought he wouldn't ever be able to see out of that eye again. They had to put eye drops in his eyes every hour and he said that the eye drops were the most painful thing ever.
The last night he was there, a nurse came into his room and gave him some eye drops. They weren't like the normal eye drops, instead of making his eye/nose burn, he said they felt soothing.
The next day he was released and he wanted to thank that nurse for giving him eye drops. When he asked for the nurse's name, they told him that nobody gave him eye drops at night. There wasn't a nurse even assigned to him that night.
