It has both eyes. One amber eye and the other is a over sized darkish blue eye. The eyelids never close on that eye and the cat doesn't seem to be in pain. But I would really like to know what's wrong with it so maybe I could something for the cat. I would like some help please?

he/she is probably blind in the oversized eye. Take it to a vet if you are able to catch it. DON'T try home remedies, it could the problem worse if it's not just blindness.

Odd eyes are known to happen in cats - and it isn't unheard of for a cat to have blue eyes like you're describing. There isn't anything wrong with in - it's just a recessive gene you get once in a while, and the only downfall is that they are a little more likely to grow blind when they grow old.
However, if the eyelids on the blue eye never close while the amber eye's does, you might want to check it out or take her to a vet. Try bringing your hand up from that side of the face (if she lets you) and see if she has a different reaction than if it were by the other side. It may be that the cat is half blind (though usually the eyes lighten in that sort of case, there are exceptions)

The eye is probably injured or diseased.If it is oversized,then it is swolen,which would cause constant pain(like a severe sinus headache all the time)It could be infected or the cat could have glaucoma.The best thing to do for the cat would be to take it to the vet,of course and find out exactly what's wrong.The eye may need to be removed to relieve the cat's pain,or it may just need antibiotics.

My mother's dog has one oversized Dark Blue Eye. It's about twice the size of the other eye, actually. It was Glaucoma, and she's completely blind in that eye. It sounds like the same thing in this stray cat.

Odd eye colours in cats are not unusal, however, if the lid fails to close then you should take it to the vet for a check up.

call your local shelter and report finding the cat.. if you dont you can be charged with theft...
It could be deformed /bad genetics or the eye could just look bigger becuase of the color?
a vet would help better

awww, it might be blind in that one eye. Take it to the vet or the humane society to get it checked out. Or you could even call the humane society and they'll come pick it up for you.

sounds like it is blind in one eye
or it may have been abused
