I am wanting to get a new tattoo.
I own an African Grey parrot.
Looking for ideas for the tattoo and the location.

you should get an artist to design one for you. I've done this for so many people and its cool to actually see my drawing on a person's body a few weeks later.
so find an artist. that way its original and can be as unique as you want it to be.

I designed my own. I'm a ParrotHead and just had to have a parrot. I've got a parrot perched on the edge of a margarita glass on the lower part of my right leg. You can also get ideas from several online tattoo galleries, BUT most of them charge a fee to print stencils and/or pictures.

why don't you have a photo of your own parrot taken and have it tattooed on you that always looks good. and need to know more about what size you want but i would go for on the back

You would be better off looking at the tattoo artist's examples. I'm sure he/she can find a match for you. Location? A tattoo parlor.

my advice is go to the tattoo shop that you plan on getting your tattoo at and ask them to draw you one and you can pick what it will look like tell them exactly what you want and they should be able to draw it that way its original hope it helps :)
