Pros : there cute, they like to snuggle, they are extermly funny in their behavior, they talk to you, and are peacefull

Cons : they are stuck-up, they act like THEY own the house, they act like you are the pet, they somtimes dont shut-up / keep you up at night, and they manipulate you to pet them whenever they feel like it

Well, I am sure you already know, since you have one cat, that they are very independent and take care of themselves pretty well, which is not to say they don't also need you're care. But they are very low maintenance. Don't have to run home to walk them.

And another pro to a second cat is it is very helpful to give the cat that you have a friend. It will probably enrich they're life and you'res. They will bond with each other. That could mean alittle less bonding with you,,but now you have both of them.

Now, if you want you're Mom to let you have that cat, let's skip the cons when you talk to her.

Us cat lovers know, there really are no cons to owning a cat right?

if you have a cat you shouldnt get a kitten you should get another cat of similar age..
with kittens you would have to feed seperately and this is hard
your current cat could easily hurt a kitten
a kitten will not be fully vaccinated and there for is a risk to your cat

now.. I agree cats like the company of friends but if your mom doesnt want a second cat you have no business trying to get her to get another until she is ready.. she is the one paying the bills and the one who has to make a LIFETIME COMMITMENT to another pet therefore it is nothing you should pressure her into or she will resent it (and you)

main thing is cats are better than kittens and best to adopt from a shelter - NEVER take free kittens NEVER buy from a pet store

Pro -
1. They taste just like chicken.

Con -
1. They eat.
2. Someone has to clean their litter box.

Oh well, it looks like the cons have it.

First of all let me say that ONLY undisciplined cats claw up furniture. OK, that said.

Two kitties are better than one, more love for you, they have each other, more love for you, they'll keep each other company, more love for you, they'll play with each other and more love for you. .
