If man tells a woman that he is married/separated, and she still moves forward with pursuing a relationship with this married man.... will he ever fully respect this new woman?

I don't think so... but what do you guys think?

Especially the men. If you told a woman that you were married/separated.. and she still messed with you, could you ever hold her with the same high esteem you held your wife before marrying her?

Been there. In order to gain full respect, the previous relationship needs to be through. You run into risk of unfinished business and deceit. Also, how would you feel if you were the wife. My experience is still ongoing and not all happy. Think long and hard if it's worth risking.

My fiancee now was married when i met him, but had not been living with her for 6 months, so he was married/separated. We are happy as can be and he respects me to the fullest....we have been together 15 months now and his divorce was not final until 1 week ago. Some people drag the other person through the dirt before the divorce is final my fiancee is living proof of that his ex was not a very kind woman. there are always thing to be worked out that take time! like the house, kids, investments, cars, stocks, shares, and so on. So think again before you judge a, as you call it married/separated man because there are always things under the surface.

The man would know that she doesn't respect the institution of marriage,
so if he married her, what would he have.
He would have a woman who would do what pleased her eye,
not what was promised by the heart, or was thought to be right.
There are names for women like these.

You're assuming that the man had any respect for the OW to begin with...I don't think guys are thinking that way when they are being pursued

I have to agree with you on this one. That man is never going to hold her in high regard. I don't even think they could become serious enough to be marriage material. He would see her huge lack of moral judgement and she'd see him as one who would sleep around while he's married. Marriage is built on trust and if neither one of them have it, then it changes their views on each other over time.

It was programmed into our minds from the moment we were defined as male. Women are awesome. We just like them. When you see a cat doing something on YouTube you just go "Awww". It is not a logical decision you did not decide the cat is cute it just is. We just find women and their bodies to be attractive.

Absolutely not. If she does still move forward then she does not respect you and only has one thing in mind.

Absolutely not. I would actually stop this before anything else happens, like any "legal meaures".
