I need help can a laser pointer really wreck a wireless security camera lens?

I have a neighbour that has 6 cameras pointing into my yard for stalking reasons. the cameras are wireless security cameras with motion sensors. I have ask police if this is legal and it is. All I need to know is how can I stop this camera from working without touching it. do laser pointers pointed into to lens stuff them up?

they also have audio how do I bock that?

What you should do ...contact a lawyer ... not just a police officer.

I agree with Dand, you do need to get a lawyer soon.

What your layer will say is that you need to document the camera movements especially when you are in the yard. The area where the cameras are pointing to is evidence enough. Have a friend video it. If his cameras have pan and tilt, it will move the minute you are in the yard. This will give your lawyer a stronger legal basis. Check up on your neighbor, he might be a sex offender as well.

Another way is to bring up the fence. You may also buy tall plants to block each of the cameras view.

There are a lot of weirdos out there.

I don't like the paint idea. It could get you in trouble. How about throwing a gob of grease at the camera lens. A bullseye should make for a very irritating show when your neighbor tries to watch and the grease won't permanently damage anything. Or how about vaseline? Maybe he'll get dizzy and stop bothering you.

Buy black spray paint and paint the lens over. Or hire some thugs to hang her up by her thumbs until she agrees to take 'em down. Hell! I don't know! You want some magical EMP device? It don't exist just shoot the phuckers out or something. Better yet put some cameras facing your neighbors yard and see how they like it. Or put a sign in your yard warning about your neighbor's camera's rendering their hidden surveilence ineffective.
