No. Go to your vet and get an ear cleanser designed for pets. Epi-Otic is a good product and most clinics carry it.

If you are unsure about what you are doing, don't do it! I have used a combination of hydrogen peroxide and alcohol to clean out ears on a non-regular basis, like when fostering a stray whose ears are dirty but not infected. Any infection, best to see a vet. If you aren't sure, see a vet.

Yes, that would be safe as long as you're not pouring it into the ear canal. Just put some on a cotton ball and wipe out the outer part of the ear canal, only as far as you can see. And there's no need to dilute it.

An old vet I used had me use straight peroxide for ear mites in a kitten. But, just be aware that the peroxide will dye the dog's hair. Vet used some on my dog where she had a small bump/sore. My black lab had a big orange spot on her back lol.

It's not a good idea to use water in their ears; if they don't dry out properly the warm damp conditions will cause ear infections. I use a product called Epi-Otic that I bought from my vet. It dries out completely. Any kind of powder will also hold in moisture in the ear canal. Alcohol based products are better.

please do not use hydrogen peroxide on your dogs ears. it creates bacteria pockets resulting in a longer and more painful ear infection. use rubbing alcohol or an ear cleaner from the pet store

I have done this, and it worked, but my vet told me it is not good for the ear and that I could use Debrox or a similar product for removing ear wax. They have a product for dogs, but the vet seemed to think the human product was okay.

yes, i had a golden retriever and i used the same solution, and it worked. you can also get a more effictive solution from petco. after you put the solution in use a cotton swab to swipe away the excess solution because you can make the ear worse!
