Saddam guilty ? Justice in the middle east ?
Well the decision handed down today, was that Saddam was found guilty of murdering some 120 innocent people, after an assasination attempt on his life in that area....? The court is suggesting a 'death penality'?
Well where are all the Christians in America, and the religious right that believes that 'thou shalt not kill" ?
Anyway, while we are on the subject of 'innocent people' being killed in the middle east, it is reported that some 200,000 to 400,000 innocent Iraqi's have been killed by the decision to invade that country because Saddam was suppose to have had 'weapons of mass destruction.
Is anyone going to be put on trial for the death of those hundreds of thousands of lives, not to mention the billions in destruction to property.
Imagine if they hang a person for killing a 120 people what the sentence should be for killing hundreds of thousands ?
Where is the real justice and compassion ?

No they will not convict the Americans for killing all the Iraqis because frankly it's America and America thinks they can dio whatever they want. Yes I'd love to be in Iraq to see Saddam hang. He was never a follower of Islam otherwise he wouldn't have invaded Kuwait and killed/tortured all his people.

You're exactly right by this. However asking this question to any American citizen is just simply pointless. Throughout the progression of history if you're on the side with the power you see no fault with your own actions, as long as they are handed to you in predigested child like terms, we feel that we are over there doing a great service to the Iraqi people by ridding them of Saddam Hussein. We feel like this because that's what we are told is true. Saddam Hussein in actuality is what kept that country stable, sectarian violence is on a frightening rise and there is no solution in place for stability in that country. We were sold this war, our post 9/11 emotions were exploited and we were forced to digest this war and support it. Who knows the real reason, but I can tell you the one thing for certain our government knew for absolute damn certain that there were NEVER any weapons of mass destruction.

Saddam's death is where the sh*t will really hit the fan.
Regardless of whether the death penalty is moral or not, regardless of whether Saddam was guilty or not, his death will elevate his status to a martyr in the Middle East. Those who were so-so for him before will now be convinced that he has given up the ultimate sacrifice and died nobly for the Iraqi cause.
And come on. He's going to be friggin HANGED. On a rope. Talk about a romantic death. It will leave a much better image to the world if he died rotting pathetically in a cell rather than being compared to some of the most famous people in history, who were also hanged.
What next, we bring back being burned at the stake? Congratulations. Talk about messing up big time, oh wonderful Iraqi court, aka puppet to the US gov.

nicely, i think of Saddam is responsible of killing human beings in his very own u . s . a .. possibly many greater suitable than he's sentenced for good now. I accept as true with a lot you're saying although. i think of the leaders of the international places who invaded Iraq are conflict criminals, people who condoned the invasion possibly in smaller degree. i'm against dying penalty, because would not resolve something. different than for doing away with a individual, who could (or would possibly no longer!) be responsible of against the regulation. Is murdering stopped interior the u . s . a . states the place they nevertheless have the dying penalty? Are we specific there never is a judicial blunders?

Please please please when coming on here with a political question have some knowledge behind you. On yahoo's very own home page, today, they had the exact number of people that were said to be killed by the orders Saddam handed down.
Why are you singling out the Christian religion? There are many other religions practiced in the US.
Who do you suppose should be put on trial for the very vague numbers given for the people killed when looking for weapons of mass destruction? Are you implying it should be Bush?
Compassion? Should we give compassion in war? You're fighting your own losing battle with questions like this.
Whether we agree on the war or not, what do you suppose we should do as a country? sit back and allow others to do with us as they please? should we seem like cowards and a huge target? I feel safe knowing our country can and will defend us.
For those of you who have a problem with people in the service dying, let's not forget they chose to be there. I respect each and everyone of them for doing something I am to much of a whimp to do myself.

no, because he already has been tried, and found guilty, and will hang.
If not for dictators, and let's face it, he killed more than 120 ppl, then the good ppl of this world would have no reason to go to war.
