I am interested in installing a remote car starter in a 2005 Acura TL and a 2000 manuel Acura RSX. Does anybody know if it damages the car or voids the warranty?

it wont if installed properly but you may have a hard time finding one for a manual trans as the car can then be started in gear by the remote

If it is installed correctly it won't hurt your car. I have installed thousands of them. They make special starters for manual transmission vehicles. I have 2004 Accord 6speed and I put one in it. It works Flawlessly. I see you have Acuras so you would want to put a quality starter in it not the cheapest one out there. They can't void your warranty dealers wont warranty damage caused by the starter thats all. If you lived near Pittsburgh i would gladly install them for you.

No, only bad installations can damage a car and/or warranty.

No, just have a proffesional install it. But I wouldn't install it on a car with manual transmission 'cause when it starts it just may take off!

My sister has had the same one on her car for over 5 years and it's held up, so I'd asy NO, they do not damage it. Just make sure you put it on right!

doesnt hurt it at all, unless it grinds the starter in the flywheel. but if installed right, it wont do that. the only thing it does is waist fuel.
